Welcome to SATI Wellness

SATI means Mindfulness or Presence, as in ‘presence of mind’ and means memory ‘remembering to embody one’s self’. The name SATI Wellness was generously suggested to me by a wise local Buddhist Monk Venerable Pannya who refers to himself as the ‘wise guy’.

From the Founder

What I have realised in life, is there will be suffering not once but over a lifetime. The most precious gift I can give you is time and tools to achieve lasting change through mindful and spiritual growth.

My journey to psychotherapy comes from the incredible privilege of practicing in acute psychiatric and community mental health and from the experiences of working with people in the depths of complex life events. I hold a core belief that you are the expert in your own life and together we will find healing through your innate relational intelligence.

The art of therapy is eclectic in nature, therapies move from one area of skill and expertise to another as the psyche unfolds and speaks. I hold a particular interest in borderline personality disorder, complex life matters and treatments for emotional regulation.

The psychological focussed therapies I explore includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - CBT

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy - DBT

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy - ACT

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Solution Focussed Therapy

  • Strengths Based Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Relational Therapy

  • Mindfulness

  • Art and Play Therapy

  • Nature Based Therapy

  • Buddhist Psychology approaches

  • Systems Therapy

  • EMDR (will be qualified Feb 2024)

Providing adult, youth and couples therapy.

SATI wellness is founded on the evidence based wisdom that the interweaving of mindfulness awareness through our lives eases suffering and cultivates deep inner peace and equanimity.

SATI Wellness will give you access to other multidisciplinary practitioners; Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Massage Therapist, Psychiatrists, Complementary Therapies, Marriage and Relationship Coaching, LGBTI+ therapists, NDIS social work coordination & outreach mental health treatment.

wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one’s being, but by the integrations of all parts
